Performance can be measured by sales reports, customer satisfaction benchmarks, overall store appearances, fiscal management, and general attitude and approach to assignments.
  • Selling / Product Knowledge - Learn from the new hire orientation training that will enable them to work in a productive and profitable Hallmark Gold Crown store. This position will require a thorough knowledge of Hallmark Gold Crown products, services, systems and store operations. Support Store Managers as they deliver new hire orientation and operations training to new employees.
  • Merchandising - Maintain and restock displays with replacement merchandise on a regular basis. Conduct POSR audits as directed by store management. Perform all housekeeping duties regularly.
  • Other Responsibilities - The Sales Associate will have access to store cash and product assets and will be held accountable for the same. Work closely with the Store Manager to understand new policies, operational changes and / or training initiatives. Participate in new technology implementation and training as directed by the Store Manager.
Skills & Experience Requirements:

A high school degree is preferred. Experience in retail assignments or other related outside experience. The incumbent have strong verbal selling skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility, a strong sense of urgency, the ability to adapt to change and the desire and ability to learn the business.

Basic qualifications include eligible to work in the US, must have reliable transportation, must be at least 16 years of age with appropriate permit as required, and willing to work the day before and after major holidays including evenings and / or weekends. In addition, physical duties involve the ability to continuously stand / walk; frequently push / pull; occasionally bend / stoop / crawl / reach above shoulders / kneel; climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 lbs.
