Dr. Farid A. Khavari, an "unconventional" economist, is the author of ten groundbreaking books and numerous articles published in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, England, former Yugoslavia, and Iran (during the Shah's era).
Dr. Khavari earned his PhD in economics and political science from the University of Bremen in Germany, a Marxist institution, and his master's in economics and social sciences from the University of Hamburg, a conservative university. In his studies, he discovered that the foundations of both schools of thought are flawed and destined to fail, regardless of how they are applied-a point he elaborates on in this book.
