Meanwhile, Juliet's best friend Marcus, a man grieving because he lost her to another man, tries to rebuild a relationship with Ahlia, Juliet's sister. Both soon realize that the foundations of their relationship are set in quicksand and Marcus turns to alcohol to numb his reality.
