Freedom or love? Which one would you choose? As a diplomat of Mar'tack, Al' Kaar tried to unite his people-the Argons-before the desert or humans wiped them out. But on his journey, he meet Rilka. A fierce, wild girl with a spirit like desert wind. She wanted nothing from him... and still, she kept pulling him closer. When a Death Worm attacked and humans tried to kidnap her, Al' Kaar became her only way out. Now he had a new problem: keeping her alive meant bringing her back to Mar'tack-whether she wanted it or not.
