The question challenged Sheila Upjohn, and she embarked on a quest to discover why Julian's book has become so widely read today. Her journey became a personal voyage of discovery - which led her to explore, in Julian's company, the nature of God, of creation, prayer, sin, the devil - and much more. The lively traveller's tales she wrote on the journey are at once moving and profound.
