Mac Oliver is a lonely teenager surrounded by a family that barely gives him the time of day. Lasting years, Mac eventually gets used to how his family treats him. One night when he dreams, he wakes up in a land he's never seen before. Startled at first, he believes he is lucid dreaming. That is when he meets Yuri, a kind hearted front-lines soldier. Developing a friendship, Mac looks forward to having that lucid dream to keep seeing Yuri. Feeling as if Yuri is the only person in the world who understands him, they both confide in each other about what they truly want out of life in their separate worlds. However, Yuri hides a secret that Mac will slowly figure throughout the story.
