When American journalist Savannah Jeffers arrives in the postcard-perfect Irish village of Carrigaveen to cover its famous matchmaking festival, she's hoping for happy endings-not homicide. But before she can even check in to her hotel, she starts hearing rumors of a murder. A woman has-reportedly-been killed in the woods behind Abbey Wood Manor. There's just one small problem: the supposed victim is still very much alive. The local guards seem all too eager to brush the whole thing off. Just a prank, they say. A bad joke. The mad ravings of a drunken Irishman. Savannah isn't convinced. Especially when a real body turns up in the very same woods. With thousands of hopeful singles flooding the village, Savannah finds herself caught in a dangerous game where everyone has secrets, and nothing is what it seems.
