Wading Through Deep Waters is an autobiography that spans more than a hundred years. The writer shares the impact that her grandparents had on her life after they became Spirit filled believers in the early 1900's. Some of the topics the book deals with are: adoption, sexual and physical abuse, tragic death, terminal diseases, prejudice, rejection and unforgiveness. She tells of how some of these things affected her childhood and even into her adult life. But she also shares how her faith in Jesus Christ brought healing, forgiveness and victory into her life. Through this book she reveals some of the joys and disappointments of being a wife, mother, grandmother and pastor's wife. The writer tries to be very candid and open about her life and includes humorous stories that happened along the way. Christine Broadus is originally from Mobile, AL. She has served with her husband Stan, as pastor's wife, for over 40 years with the Assemblies of God. She served as director of music and productions in their local church. During this time she has taught adult Bible study classes as well as children. They have four children, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She and her husband are now semi-retired and live in Albertville, AL
