Much of the material in Paul's epistle to the Galatians is similar to that in his epistle to the Romans, and both books have been used to set forth the idea that the Holy Spirit is directly active in the world today as He was in the apostolic era.In his logical exposition of the book of Galatians, Jerry Brewer dispels the notion of direct Holy Spirit influence today and demonstrates that what is mistaken for the Holy Spirit in Galatians is, in reality, man's spirit, or disposition. This is not a regurgitation of the conventional wisdom heard in today's postmodern religious world.
