That said, it calls into question the whole rationale for universal compulsory mask mandates, since they don't actually require masks that 'work.' If you are concerned about taking measures which actually work, which prevent pain and suffering, and even death, this book is for you. The "we're all in this together" crowd may wish to look elsewhere; any dystopian novel will do.
