UnLynched describes Willie Lynch's theories to mentally subjugate slaves so that slave owners would save the money they were wasting by lynching assets used for productivity. Each section is followed by an analysis of how the psychological techniques are manifesting in today's African American communities then a brief commentary about the possibilities that exist if we change our mindset about the issues. The sections close with a series of questions designed to explore how the issues can be addressed in the context of local communities. LaKesha hopes that this work will spark conversations about African Americans working together to develop collective economic models that will lead to the creation of generational wealth.
