King Daren Heart is the ruler of the small but formidable country of Lionel. One of many nations formed almost two hundred years ago after a world-wide nuclear fallout and subsequent natural disasters, it is on the brink of its own disaster. An unknown enemy has attacked the country, an earthquake has shaken its very foundation, and the country is in a financial crisis. When an unlikely informant arrives at the palace asking to speak with King Daren, the country is sent into a tailspin.
