Each year for nearly a decade, Tanya Cangelosi traveled on pilgrimage to Rome with one of her homeless friends. As founder of the Denver Homeless Ministry, she wanted "to inspire homeless youth and adults to change their lives and not to allow themselves to be controlled by their circumstances." Each trip to Rome was a unique, crazy adventure for everyone involved, and ultimately transformative.
