Barnes & Noble The Young, Local, Creation-Week Journal, Summer 2025: early Genesis and a rational view of creation-week at Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, TN
The journal discusses cosmological questions around a set of conclusions reached recently by Marcus Sanford, MCS, Regent College Canada. They are: 1, the text distinguishes significantly between the local celestial system placed during the recent creation-week and lifeless distant objects2, the custody of the text has been very few people, all things considered, ending with Joseph's transcribing verbal transmission to written3, evolution is essentially the problem of mutations causing deterioration; thus it is no explanation for life4, 2 Peter 3 preserves the distinction of #1 above5, the earth is already present before Day 1 activity, and probably due to the 'spreading out' which may overlap with a lifeless explosive event that resulted in the mass of the universe6, the POV of earth is preserved; the text is not trying to give an omniscient explanation, and Day 1 light is sensibly treated as starlight arriving from #5.
