We live in a crazy modern world. We work, eat, drink, connect, and disconnect from others from the day we are born to the day we die. Life can be filled with good experiences, then suddenly is shattered by some kind of disappointment. I learned this at an early age because of a health crisis. I was diagnosed and told that I might die. And there hanging between life and death, I was scared and afraid. I might have been dreaming, but I knew my mother was in the room praying for my recovery. And after many weeks, I went home wanting to know if there was more to life than I had experienced at 22. I studied the Bible and Genesis to discover an impression of God that I could relate to and live with.
