Have you heard about the old lady who swallowed a fly? That is just a little part of this story, for the truth is, she does not just swallow a mere little bug, but a whole lot more of creatures many will think will not fit in an old lady’s mouth—but yes, they do. Does the old lady die? Many think so, but no, she does not. In a delightfully crafted tale, complete with rhythm and rhyme and a happier ending children of all ages will enjoy, Marty Smedes unveils the true story of why the old lady survives-as well as the fly and other creatures she swallowed.
