Transforming from the ducklin to the swan/Through my mental health, I tell my story/ in the hopes of connecting to and with others like me/ to let them know its ok to hurt/ its ok to cry/ to feel but its also ok to be you/ in a world were people point and pretend as if their life is a ok/ they make you feel as if its not ok or safe to be you. A person who struggles with emotions in an off the wall way/ in a way that doesn't meet the world's standards/ but I'm saying to you/ be you / let them point and stare and judge/ their still going to do that regardless/ but you have to be you but push through/ standing tall and strong/ knowing that God has you and He's going to see you through/ that you have a gift and that gift is your story/ that was created for people like you/ and for people in general / I don't know what your beliefs are/ and I wont push mines on you/ but I encourage you to find your higher self/ and be the best version of you/ that I know you can be/ because somewhere deep inside you lies/ your higher purpose/ your higher strength/ because He is in all of us/ whether you believe in him or not. The Swan picks up where the ugly ducklin leaves off at. A blend of my old work mix with my new stuff/ Still raw/ passion/ and just me unapologetically/the focus of mental health / the focus of trauma/ the focus of just being human:even though there's still darkness and pain we have to understand and know that we are not alone/through my story I'm hoping to connect with others/ in a way for them to feel the pain and deal with it in a creative way/to inspire them to focus on getting better/
