Courtney Wise has many issues that she must deal with after her husband of twenty-five years so rudely dies beside her in bed without giving her any notice that he was going to leave her all alone at forty-six years old. She has been a housewife and never really worked. She used to be a superb shooter with a rifle, but a mother raising a son downplays the use of guns. Then there is Trevor Sumner a state trooper who needs to improve his shooting skills. He is divorced, thirty-six years old, and willing to pay for lessons to become a better shooter. The question becomes exactly what target will be hit once they start shooting.
