Jesus said that in this life we will have trials and tribulations for our belief in Him. However, we need not fear because He has overcome the world and is always with us. In this story, a young girl is experiencing many different forms of persecution but her faith in Jesus Christ allows her to persevere to the very end.
This beautifully illustrated and poetic story points children towards our sure hope in Christ through the very real persecutions Christians are facing or may come to face in this fallen world.
