The Roberts Supreme Court is the most controversial Supreme Court in our history. The First Amendment distance between church and state has been bridged by a "religious rights" agenda. Previous Courts have decided in favor of certain unenumerated individual rights as being fundamental to our well being. This Court, using a religious standard, plans to "revisit" these decisions. Rights, such as the use of contraceptives and the right to privacy will likely be overturned. Roe v. Wade was the first casualty. The Court is in concert with powerful allies that are planning to insert religious admonitions into our lives by government edict. This political push towards Christian Nationalism is anathema to the freedoms we enjoy. Court allies, principal players and the role they fulfill are described. The Courts role in gun violence and Affirmative Action is critiqued. The question we must all answer is Christian Nationalism the way we want to go.
