The Point Spread is a fast paced fictional mystery - crime novel that investigates the possibility of how professional football games could be rigged for specific outcomes. The investigating newspaper reporter keeps one step ahead of the Las Vegas Police who suspect him of murder while chasing his lead and the assassins trying to stop his investigation. During his journey he falls in love with a television anchor whose husband, and ex-professional football player, was killed in a suspicious boating accident. His quest ends on the top of the Empire State building where he must defend his life and love.
