Upon experiencing a bit of pain and suffering throughout my entire youth, young adulthood, and seeing it also visited upon others I loved as well as those I didn't even know, it became increasingly more difficult for me to remain as stupid as our government had made me despite the comfort stupidity had provided me for a great while. Ignorance is bliss for a little while yet not always forever. Reminds me of the late comedian Richard Pryor, when it comes to our own government: Who you gonna believe, ME or YOUR lying eyes? And upon finally realizing that nothing works; political, social, religious, and more often than not even professional within black society to cause the total breakdown of law on the civil side of the system within it destroying our black masses and from Sea to Shining Sea for more than half a century, it absolutely even frightened me. The more blacks that reached positions of responsibility and across the board on every level of American society over the past half century the more dire it got for WE blacks beneath them. It may also be at least one of the reasons, we black folk seem a willing and eager Proletariat fit for any Communist State. 91% of black folk sent Joe Biden to the Oval Office in the year 2020 else he would never have gotten there then 82% of them turned around and even voted for Kamala Harris in November of 2024. My 92 year old mother believes the only similar experience to the Lofton family is the Captain Dreyfus case of France. Since I did not learn to read nor write until I was well into my 20's, I am no Emile Zola who put the Dreyfus case before the world. Is there so little difference between a Constitutional Republic and a Communist State today? I wonder if the question also sent Donald J. Trump to the Oval Office and twice. Albeit the slow learner I am it took me quite a while to eventually learn that whichever way black folk are going, take off in the opposite direction and fast.
