The Novice Nurse Pocket Manual" is for Nurses to gain confidence in their skills, knowledge base and, critical thinking skills by having a quick reference guide when working through their shift. "The Novice Nurse Pocket Manual" was written because there is no way you will ever know everything there is to know about nursing but, having a reference guide to a little more than the basics I believe will help Nurses tremendously on the floor. I believe it will also aide Nurses in their critical thinking process because it will give insight into what you can do to help your patient in an emergent situation. It took me years to build my knowledge base, skill set, and confidence. This book is to help other nurses coming into the field develop theirs in less time.
