Nine Ronin take shelter from a storm in the ruined castle of Four Waves. What would ordinarily be a simple gathering of travelers quickly turns into a night of extraordinary violence, a comedy of manners, and finally a historical peccadillo of epic proportions. Wave after wave of enemies both real and fantastical descend upon the castle and its nine inhabitants. They bring with them the dogs of war, the threat of invasion, the specter of crimes past, and the wisdom of days to come. It is a moral about the gods above, a tale of steel and samurai justice, a parable on luck and a lesson in immortality…but mostly it is about nine Ronin and a castle, a Mongol invasion, an Oni king, a war between fiefdoms and the futility of being a dog.Welcome to the weird world of Samurai, wit, immortality and honor.Welcome to Four Waves Castle.
