And then the adventure began. We flew to Anchorage, gotin a small plane piloted by a bush pilot, and flew into a remote areanortheast of Anchorage. Then we got on a boat and went upstreamto a fishing lodge.Next came bears and salmon and scary stuff.The salmon's life cycle and their migration from the river to theocean and back to the river is amazing.Also amazing is the history of Native Alaskans whose ancestorsmigrated across the Bering Land Bridge from Siberia to Alaska.An incredible adventure and we hope you enjoy following alongwith us in the vast untamed wilderness that is Alaska.
