1 Samuel 16:10, "Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, 'The Lord has not chosen these.'" Society may never pick you, but thank God when it comes to leaders, God has the final say so! The attraction to popularity and influence can cloud our judgement sometimes and we forget that God does the calling, and we do the answering. Do you remember playing basketball or football at recess and the anticipation of being picked begins to rise when there are fewer people left to pick from? One of the greatest fears is being picked last, or not being picked at all because no one likes to be overlooked. This book is to encourage the leader that feels overlooked, abandoned, and forgotten to remember that God chose you when society did not.
