Cursing Tamas with every breath, I'm surprised I can't fight the urge to reach for him, and allowing him into my dreams. He says he'll get me out, but I've been promised things my entire life that never came to be. I don't want to believe Tamas, but his kisses say more than words ever could, and the way he touches me says he'll kill any who lay a finger on me. I've never been one to rely on others to save me, but something tells me Tamas won't have it any other way.

I was meant to protect my mate, cherish her... love her. And I let my pride and anger get in the way. My need for revenge directed my actions and led me into the darkness.
