The Hon. Secretary of the Postal Microscopical Society has undertaken. The office of Publisher and Editor. In the duties of the latter office he has received very valu able assistance during the issue of the first three parts from the Rev. J. H. Green (chairman of the Bath Sub Committee), to whom he tenders his very sincere thanks,as well as to those other gentlemen who have kindly volunteered their assistance.
At the suggestion of a great number of our members and subscribers, the quarterly parts of the second volume will be increased in size, and we hope also in the quality and usefulness of the matter contained; at the same time, although a slight increase will be made in the price, it will be supplied at cost price to the members of the Society. To the general public the price will be is. 6d. Each part.
We have thought it advisable to present our readers with a Map, shewing the general distribution of our Mem bers throughout England. A List of Members is also presented as a Supplement.
