When Lovington and her mom Elaine move to Berrywood, PA during the summer of 2015, they're hoping for another fresh start. Berrywood was different. Berrywood was where Lovington finally had her own room and closet, where she felt safe-until the ghosts started appearing. Now with the start of her senior year approaching Lovington wanted to leave Berrywood, that is until she met Jane. Jane understood Lovington.
