After discovering that several people were paid by a movie studio to fake their deaths for a film promotion, a Chicago reporter goes to Los Angeles and learns that the promotion is connected to the 1930's horror film called Womar the Gravedigger, and that there is a ghostly apparition and occult legend that surround it.
