Troy Evans embraced the violence-prone hip-hop culture with passion and dedication. He joined a gang, abused alcohol, and used women. Then God got ahold of Troy, and he came to embrace God with the same passion. The Edge of Redemption is far more than a remarkable biography of one man's journey--Evans challenges church and community leaders to engage the urban culture and those in their communities they often find threatening and unreachable. The task seems impossible--the people seem unreachable. But Troy Evans testifies to and explains why there is no such thing as impossible or unreachable with God. Evans has become the church to an urban world that is often opposed to it. His amazing transformation from gang banger to urban pastor illustrates that God can radically redeem even the most broken people.
