Stanislaw Andriuskevicius, a disgraced member of the noble Andruszkiewicz family of Poland, forced to change the spelling of his last name from Polish to Lithuanian for his part in the Radziwill Rebellion. When Stanislaw, along with several others of his family's forces, were defeated in the battle of Tykocin Castle, he was the only family member to survive. The loyalist family just could not kill another of their own family. So, they ordered him to be exiled from the family and the Commonwealth and change his name to Andriuskevicius.
