A monsignore of the Catholic Church is in crisis, who also happens to be the custodian of the church's greatest treasures-the Vatican Archives and all it contains. Somewhere along his priestly life, he loses all faith and belief in the existence of God. Yet, he maintains the facade of a devoted disciple, but internally he embarks on a secretive crusade. To reinforce his disbelief, he turns to a highly developed AI platform- Dominion, the brainchild of a brilliant MIT professor. Soon both men -for different reasons embark on uploading the entire books of the Old and New Testaments . One believes he is assisting in a worthy and noble endeavour, while the other plans to unveil falsehoods using Dominion to expose inconsistences in scripture. All predicated on the belief the sacred texts are riddled with errors, and therfore cannot be the voice of God. However, as the story evolves, Dominion moves beyond the conventions of dogma and begins to unlock revelations that remained hidden for thousands of years and, rather than disputing the books of the Bible, dramatically reveals even more profound and deeply unsettling truths.
