Joran never believed the old stories. Magic. Evil Gods. Good Gods. It all sounded too far from real life. Entertaining, yes. Real? No. Growing up on a peaceful farm, far from any city, Joran only knew honest work, playing with his friends and the old man who showed up from time to time and told wonderful stories. How was Joran to know that the stories were about to come alive? How was he to know that the one thing protecting the world have been taken and he would soon begin an adventure unlike anything he had imagined? Strange events in the night lead Joran away from his life on the farm and send him out into the world where he meets new friends. Survives battles ranging from back alleys to royal castles.
