When seventeen-year-old Kyle Kindall is imprisoned despite pleading not guilty, the judge - suspecting Kyle may have been poorly represented at the trial - assigns a trusted friend to find more evidence that may support Kyle's story. But Yuuki Takahashi is already dealing with a lot of stress in his life when Timothy, the judge, approaches him. After an incident a year ago rendered him with PTSD, he's at war with himself as to whether or not he should take on Kindall's case.
