When Jace overhears his grandpa talking about a quest to find a force called the Power, the opportunity for a big adventure entices Jace and his friends and they can hardly wait to get started. Unfortunately, the impulsive decision to leave may have been their gravest mistake. The friends no longer have the option of going back; they have to find the Power.
