Since the first early diagnoses, many types of mental illnesses have been defined that were previously unknown. Bipolar disorder is such an illness, and it is one that Dana Wall knows well. As a hyperactive "busy" kid with undiagnosed ADHD and an overabundance of energy, Dana's life was good and filled with fun. But as time passed, Dana found himself struggling with bouts of mania, depression, and mixed bipolar episodes, all of which nearly destroyed him and the successful life he'd built.
