Barnes & Noble The Bible / Raamattu - The First Book of Moses; Genesis / Ensimminen Mooseksen kirja; Genesis: Tranzlaty English Suomi at Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, TN
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.1:1 Alussa Jumala loi taivaan ja maan.1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.1:2 Ja maa oli muodoton ja tyhjä; ja pimeys oli syvyyden edessä. Ja Jumalan Henki liikkui vetten päällä.1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.1:3 Ja Jumala sanoi: Tulkoon valkeus, ja valkeus tuli.1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.1:4 Ja Jumala näki valon, että se oli hyvä, ja Jumala erotti valon pimeydestä.1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.1:5 Ja Jumala kutsui valon päiväksi ja pimeyden hän kutsui yöksi. Ja ilta ja aamu olivat ensimmäinen päivä.
