Barnes & Noble The Bible / Die Bybel - The First Book of Moses; Genesis / Die Eerste Boek van Moses; Genesis: Tranzlaty English Afrikaans at Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, TN
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.1:1 In die begin het God die hemel en die aarde geskape.1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.1:2 En die aarde was woes en leeg; en duisternis was op die watervloed. En die Gees van God het gesweef op die waters.1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.1:3 En God het gesê Laat daar lig wees, en daar was lig.1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.1:4 En God het die lig gesien dat dit goed was, en God het die lig van die duisternis geskei.1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.1:5 En God het die lig Dag genoem, en die duisternis het Hy Nag genoem. En die aand en die môre was die eerste dag.
