"Wake up, wake up," Chelsea Chick peeped as she bounced up and down and back and forth in front of the big red barn. She had been up for hours practicing running fast and jumping high. "Isn't anyone else excited about today's Barnyard Games?" she peeped. Chelsea was over-the-moon excited. She was ready to strut her stuff in the hurdles race. Ordinarily, the daily lives of farm animals were nothing unusual. . . Chickens lay eggs.
