The Adventures of Skiddles the Worm is a story imagined in the 80s for the future. It involves several deep lessons with words hidden within each page to inscribe a sense of forward thinking. An embodiment for child and adult, the book is an extension of the author's imagination while story-telling to his daughter and son, Lindsay and Taylor. Basic needs like home and food are fundamental for development so that children and adults can be diligent to accomplish tasks. And, questions and teamwork are tenets children and adults need to be sustainable and happy. As a Life Strategist and Humanitarian, Connier Nordan saw these tenets and instilled them into each character, as well as the story's narrative. The narrative develops a schema and helps comportment for the young mind. Society is benefitted through the social narratives that help us work as a collective and build social contracts of joy and love. Discovering them is the task of each reader-child or adult. You are sure to be enticed.
