The Creature in the Yard This story begins with Freddie and Tanga planning to spend the day digging for buried treasure. The excitement starts when they notice a mound of dirt growing larger and larger near the edge of the garden, and hop over to investigate. While they are staring at the mound, they are surprised by what “pops” out of the ground, and what they are asked to do. What causes the creature to leave its nest during the middle of the night and sleep with Freddie in his big bed? What did the creature mean when he said to Freddie and Tanga, “I think it’s time!” What do Freddie, Tanga and the creature all agree to be after they learn how to read and write? Be prepared for some non-stop reading as you open the cover of The Adventures of Freddie, the Little Fire Dragon: The Creature In The Yard. www.freddieandtanga.com
