The son of a master village blacksmith, Brennan never thought of himself as anyone special, unlike the many heroes from the tales. This, however, never bothered him as he was quite content with his life in the village of Enhara. He had all he needed here: family, friends and a warm, loving environment. That all changed on a summer day with the Picking, when Brennan's life and destiny were forever changed by small, simple stone.
