This book is about a little boy and his wonderful pets, a dog and a goat. It carries you through many exciting adventures. Along the way you will see how humans and animals can be great companions and the love and compassion they shared. It also shows how children of all races played in harmony together during the period of segregation and racial unrest in the deep south.
