Before being named King, Prince Francis roamed the Land with a restless spirit and a reckless heart. After he seduced a witch and spurned her love, she transformed him into a frog. Eventually he found a cure, only to discover that his loyal page, Heinrich, had died of a weak heart. Obsessed with defying death, the Frog Prince toiled at the boundaries of magic and science until he reanimated Heinrich's putrid corpse by fusing it with enchanted wood. The tragic creation soon proved too curious and too willful, and Prince Francis abandoned the pitiful thing to die-but the Monster survived and vowed vengeance.
If it can't inspire love from its creator, then it will cause fear.
Now, the Monster's lifetime of scheming reaches its culmination. Its calculated manipulations have unleashed a horde of zombies and other creatures upon the Land, led by the cursed maiden Snow. Two kingdoms have fallen. Civilization's last chance lies with the not-so-evil Queen Adara, the former Frog Prince, the werewolf Red, the charmed mummy Goldenlocks, and their motley crew of allies. Still reeling from the deaths of several companions, the remaining survivors now race to the Western Kingdom in a desperate bid to stop Snow and confront the Monster. Except new terrors await them, as they've not yet experienced the full wrath of That Rotten Puppet . . .
The Scary Tales is the perfect series for lovers of fairy tales, fans of zombie horror, and anyone that enjoys an epic fantasy adventure.
