Riversbee Buttercup is a boy on the go. He takes a road trip to the seashore, a carriage ride down by the beach and conducts a teddy bear rescue by train. Riversbee conquers his fear of the dark once and for all and collects postcards to send to his father who is on a mission trip to Africa. As Tessa Beth's little cousin and a fellow Cookie Ministry Kid, Riversbee also whips up batches of zany Sugarplum cookies, tucks them into bags or boxes with Bible verses and delivers them to people in need of a little cheer. Add a cup of wholesomeness, a sprinkle of whimsy and a scoop of faith and you get the unique flavor of TESSA BETH & CO. AND THE BUTTERCUPS. The simple yet quirky sugar cookie recipes that follow each chapter, such as Teddy Eddie and Surf and Safari Cookies, will appeal to both boys and girls.
