Demons walk among us, and it's our own fault.
Nari and his identical twin Varli are sons of Loki. Former lieutenants for their half-sister in the underworld, when the Hells of the world fell, they were sent to earth, like all the other demons. As soon as they found each other, they got back up to their tricksy ways: helping their siblings run the Lokisgeirr crime ring in San Hades, bouncing between bedmates and generally being useless and a bit vain.
Wren is a seamstress who has always dreamed big. Leading a now-quiet life filled with blacksmithing with her mentor, hiking in the desert, and running her shop, she's happy and fulfilled. Except Wren's business loan is owned by a famous San Hades crime ring called the Emerald Moths, so she has to put up with monthly visits from their loan enforcer, who also happens to be her abusive ex boyfriend.
But when a chance encounter under the blacksmith's tent at a local Ren Faire leaves her face to face with Nari, neither can deny the instant pull they feel towards each other. And while Varli is also intrigued by the human woman, he knows his boundaries with his twin.
Will Wren be able to navigate the inherent drama of organized crime, inter-species differences, and the drama of her ex and the loan owed to Nari's rivals?
Will Nari be able to be honest with the vivacious human woman who has stolen his heart but who has no experience with demons? And more importantly, will he be able to keep his relationship with his twin brother even when he's bonding with his soul mate?
