Believers read the Gospel. It presents the message of Jesus Christ and His works in the New Testament. The title "Gospel" is mentioned twenty-seven times in the New Testament and describes Jesus' events as the Good News. The Gospel tells us about Jesus' life and His works. His teaching, death, and resurrection mean to us today, tomorrow, and eternity. The Gospel introduces four portraits of Jesus Christ with each characteristic which we can see through Mattew the Hebrew tax collector who wrote the gospel to the Hebrews, Marks to Paul, and Peter to the Romans. In addition, Paul's missionaries also wrote about Jesus Christ from a Greek viewpoint. John's Gospel is different because of its original nature, interpreting the truths of Jesus' life and emphasizing the nature of Jesus more than the other three previous books.
