This book is written for you, and anyone who seeks answers to what they are doing here and the meaning of their life. At some point most of us want answers about love, death and everything in between. Take this message to heart if you care about strengthening your soul...The only thing you truly have is your soul, and that is the thing that you can make stronger to prepare for the day you leave this earthly life.'
For those unfamiliar with the term, exegesis is a critical explanation or interpretation of the biblical text to discover its intended meaning from both the Christian and Jewish stance. June escorts the reader through one of the most comfortable dissections of the Bible – Old and New Testaments – showing the parity of how God and Jesus are 'explained,' supported with scriptural references that assimilate her presentation. Of particular interest is her discussion of gender – 'In Defense of Women in the Church' – as fine a dissertation on gender equality as the Bible defines it as has been written!
Very brief, but Informative and fascinating writing creates many moments of reflection from a wise author. Grady Harp, April 22
