You okay?As university student Hanna Urabi drove home in the dark Mojave night, she got pulled over for speeding. That wasn’t the worst of it. Her experiment had been a failure, so she wasn’t going to graduate. When the CHP Officer asked if she was okay, she shook her head. No, she was not okay.If crazy tells you they’re crazy, believe them.In the friendly night, CHP Officer Daniel Centalmo held Hanna’s hand and shared with her that he’d been burned badly by his ex-fiance. His touch warmed her up inside, deep in her core, and she couldn’t feel too bad about it. Openly adoring him as she got to know him better, she loved his quirky sense of humor...He enjoyed odd things that made her smile. He joked that she was making him crazy. He mock-threatened to put her in handcuffs. When offered a Mojave Desert rainstorm, of course she accepted his invitation to visit.
